I blame all of this on Kobe Bryant.

The Los Angeles Lakers are 1-4, although the roster is filled with talented stars there’s a real lack of chemistry of the roster. Point God Steve Nash is hurt. Dwight Howard looks mentally lost in the offense. Metta World Peace is Ron Artest. It feels like head coach Mike Brown commands zero respect from his players. Lakers fans are crying tears in their beer and there isn’t a real solution to fixing the Lakers slow start.

Like I said, I blame all of this on Kobe Bryant.

Después de la tormenta (Dallas) siempre llega la calma (Los Angeles) dice el viejo, conocido, machacado, desmenuzado y típico adagio. 

Pero para Lamar Odom más que tormenta fue un huracán.  Y después de un año para el olvido el exjugador de los Lakers será el nuevo integrante de Los Angeles Clippers.

Regresa a casa, claro, pero tiene otro hogar.  Un equipo que lo espera con los brazos abiertos, que lo dejó ir en el 2003 y lo puso como agente libre cuando éste confesó que consumía marihuana.  El hermano menor de Los Lakers.

The Big One is finally going to hit Los Angeles.

Not that Richter scale-shattering earthquake that geologists talk about striking the L.A. basin – at least we all hope not – but that perfect storm when four of the city’s major pro sports teams are all playing meaningful games within the same span of days.

In the NBA, the Lakers and Clippers are about to start their respective playoff series against Oklahoma City and San Antonio. Games 1 and 2 are on the road for both teams beginning Monday in OKC, with the Clips playing Game 1 in Texas Tuesday.
