Its funny how you can win by 47 points and still have people say that you “struggled” in a basketball game. Such is like for Team USA, as the 54-point favorites over Tunisia missed the mark by 7 on Tuesday in their 110-63 victory. Team USA was ahead with a shocking 46-33 advantage before the floodgates opened it up in the second half. The second unit turned it on with a 21-3 run and the nail was officially in the coffin.

The man who is out gallivanting with the rest of his Team USA Basketball teammates in Europe, has witnessed much of this from afar and has been a willing sound bite on a variety of topics. From accepting Kyrie Irving’s 1-on-1 challenge to calling David Stern’s age limit consideration for future NBA olympians “stupid,” Bryant’s opinion has been well known to the masses.

Nike’s Dream Team Destroyer Jacket Salutes To 20 Years of USA Basketball

By Eduardo Maisonet, III / @edthesportsfan

For FOX Deportes

The young folks can only dream about the past.

My generation can only compare the past to the present.

The old men can only appreciate the evolution.

20 years ago we the people were witness to the formation of the 1992 USA Basketball Team. The group wasn’t originally branded the Dream Team until they hit the court, as this was the first time NBA players had participated in the Olympics. However, once the team started dominating in the exhibitions, the dynamic presence the team had on and off the court, and the marketing hype that took over went full blast…the Dream Team was officially here.
