Kobe vs Lebron ¿Cuál es el mejor?

image

El Cinco: The 5 NBA Games That Matter In The 2012-13 Season

By Eduardo Maisonet, III / @edthesportsfan

For FOX Deportes

On Thursday the NBA schedule for the 2012-13 season was released. It is a moment where the event itself is hyped but I get zero excitement out of it. Not that the event doesn’t matter, but I got things to do during the summer.

However, once things slowed down I did peruse the schedule. Come and take a walk with me and check out these five games that truly matter early on the schedule.

Brooklyn Nets at New York Knicks - November 1, 2012: Let the darby begin with the Nets and the Knicks. Brooklyn residents will be torn over witnessing a team in the Nets land in their hometown burrough and their long-term allegiance towards their city representing Knicks. Its sure to be star-laden affair, as the Knicks big three of Carmelo Anthony, Amar’e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler will now be matched by the Nets big three of Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez….and that’s the just stars that’ll be on the court.

Jay-Z vs. Spike Lee? *cues up Empire State of Mind on the iPod*

The Cinco: Five Thoughts on the NBA Finals As We Move To Miami

By Eduardo Maisonet, III / @edthesportsfan

For FOX Deportes

Well, we’re not actually moving to Miami. Unless I can talk to our editor about sending us on a field trip. (Rob, what up?) Let’s see how this goes…unless I don’t have a job here anymore. You know what, let’s just roll into my five points.

1. Someone please get Oklahoma City a 5-hour energy drink: I don’t want to beat this point into the ground, but the Oklahoma City Thunder simply can’t afford to keep digging holes to try and climb out of later in the game. Those moments of comeback are special, and the Thunder are well-equipped to do it. However, just because you can do it doesn’t mean you should have to all the time. Miami’s too good to allow them to be frontrunners, they were built to play that way.

Dwyane Wade Stars In, ‘The Invisible Man’

By Eduardo Maisonet, III / @edthesportsfan

I almost fell asleep during the game.

Traveling from Cincinnati to San Francisco is a long haul, and dealing with the three-hour time zone change left your favorite writer a tad winded when I was finally able to relax in my hotel room. (Don’t feel bad for me, I’m out here trying to pay the bills. We’re good.) All I wanted to do is order room service, get out of my suit, and watch game one of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The 5 Things LeBron James Must Do vs. Boston

By Eduardo Maisonet, III / @edthesportsfan

For FOX Deportes

LeBron Raymone James, how are you doing, brother?

Its a simple question, full government name and all, that I’d love to ask him. Looking past what’s going on with him and the basketball court. Looking past what’s going on with him and The Swoosh. Looking past even the headband, the hairline, and the haters.

How are you doing, brother?

Being at peace can be a beautiful thing, and I wonder if LeBron could ever get there. Maybe he is there, who knows. Its just something I’m curious about. Anyway, here are the five things that LeBron must do versus the Boston Celtics, as the NBA Finals are where the true judging of LeBron can only really occur.
