The man known on many public records back in Brazil, Givanildo Vieira de Souza, will continue his footballing matriculation from FC Porto in his home country to across the pond to Russia. St. Petersburg, to be exact. Russian powerhouse club Zenit signed who many fans simply know as Hulk to a 5-year contract Monday night.

Hulk had been linked to many clubs across Europe all summer, most notably Chelsea, however the Russian side broke the bank and pushed a deal valued at close to $63 million (£39.5 million) to officially make the move to Zenit St Petersburg from FC Porto. Zenit wasn’t done on the day, as they also acquired Belgian national team member and now former Benfica midfielder Axel Witsel. Witsel was also given a $51 million deal (£32 million) over five years.
